Easter 2018
In the weeks leading up to Easter, the Junior Church enjoyed creating the Holy Week story in Handprints. On Easter Day they enjoyed sharing this with the congregation as well as making Easter Cakes
Palm Sunday 2018
On Palm Sunday we again welcomed the ‘ecumenical donkey’ to New Road. He was greeted by the congregation together with the junior church from Wesley Memorial church. Some then walked with the donkey to its next destination waving palm leaves. It was a lovely visual reminder of this part of the Easter story.
